Steps to get RCS Messaging for Android phones:

  • Firstly, Restart your phone once.
  • Go to Settings > Apps > Android Messages > Force Stop. However, you can also click on the Android Messages icon in overview mode, select app info, and force stop from there.
  • Now launch the Google Play Store and uninstall Android Messages updates.
  • Download and install the latest update for Android Messages from the play store. You can also sign up for Android Messages Beta for the latest features.

  • Once done, launch the app.
  • A popup appears. Moreover, you’ll see a new Chat feature option enabled in the messaging app.
